An Introduction to the Practice of Seated Meditation
with Wesley Tudor - Director of the Raja Yoga and Meditation Center
Meditation is a practice which can yield stunning results. With only 3 or 4 days in a row of practicing, you will begin to experience life in a new, clearer, calmer, more creative way. Your stress levels will plummet, your relationships improve, and new outside of the box solutions to life's dilemmas will begin to present themselves. You will enjoy life more, and wonder how you ever got by without meditation before. But to gain all these benefits, one must have a good understanding of the basics, such as how to find a comfortable but effective seated posture, and how to calm the nervous system with diaphragmatic (belly) breathing. It is also helpful to be aware of the variety of meditation methods available, and select the one or ones which are the right fit for you. You will learn all this and more in this three hour workshop, which will benefit both beginners and experienced practitioners alike.
