Bridging the Gap:
Yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine
Join Jason Rinker, HAVEN’s functional acupuncturist, and Jenna Rupert, a certified yoga instructor and holistic health coach, for a workshop that bridges the ancient traditions of yogic asana and pranayama with the energetic pathways used in Traditional Chinese Meridian Therapy. They will lead you to reconnect with your deeper fundamental energy and vital life force also called Prana or Chi. By evoking your body’s energetic fields through movement and breath, you’ll learn techniques that will help you combat the effects of stress, release energy blockages and bring your body back into balance. As you melt into the final resting pose of savasana, optional community acupuncture will be offered by Jason for those willing to receive. Stay and mingle with us and enjoy sun-inspired cocktails!
